? Local Setup in 5 Minutes
1. Clone the repo
git clone
cd event-booking
2. Set up environment variables
Create a .env file inside /backend:
PORT=5000
DB_URL=your_postgres_connection_string
EMAIL_USER=your_gmail@gmail.com
EMAIL_PASS=your_gmail_app_password
3. Run with Docker Compose
docker-compose up --build
Now visit:
Dockerfiles are provided for both backend and frontend. You can build and run containers locally, or push them to AWS ECR for deployment.
docker build -t event-booking-backend ./backend
docker build -t event-booking-frontend ./frontend
Deploying on AWS (ECS Fargate)
