Why I Built Sona

Modern programming languages weren’t built with neurodivergent or first-time coders in mind. That’s a gap I couldn’t ignore.

As a self-taught developer, I spent years battling syntax errors, inconsistent tooling, and steep learning curves — not because I lacked motivation, but because the language design just wasn't made for brains like mine.

Current Progress

Interpreter up to v0.4.3

12+ core modules complete (fs, http, json, env, stdin, etc.)

REPL mode: multiline function support, :env commands, graceful errors
